The
Datasign could conceivably be self installed. The
110 volt power requirement is the same as ordinary household
current. The power can be wired by any local electrician,
only two wires are to the first connector. No other wiring is required. (If desired
by the purchaser installation could be arranged for a fee.) The modules plug
into connectors. A key module controls the sequentially ordered modules
to create the desired message. Modules are interchangeable.Each module comes with a two-year
replacement warranty. Recommended with purchase
of any board are four replacement modules. In the
event of a malfunctioning module, a replacement module can be installed, and the
"broken" module shipped back for repair. This insures that there is no
"down time" while the non functioning module is repaired.
